We then fly you to the shores of Lake Kariba to venture on an exclusive island safari camp situated just off the shoreline of the Matusadona National Park, offering an abundance of both wildlife and bird life, with the largest selection of activities available anywhere, or the option to simply relax. A highlight of this area is seeing the highly threatened Black Rhino – Guests can track wild black rhino on foot in the adjacent rhino sanctuary. The camp was involved in the re-introduction of black rhino into the National Park and guests track the wild black rhino on foot in the park.

- Fishing – The famous fighting Tiger Fish is found in abundance in Lake Kariba. They are at their most active in the summer and provide excellent sport. A world record sized Tiger Fish was caught on a fly rod near the camp. There are many other species of fish that can be found in Lake Kariba, including the huge Vundu, and also delicious Bream.

- Canoeing – available both 2-seater and 3-seater Canadian style canoes. Experience peace, tranquility and relaxation while gliding past prolific wildlife.
- Wild Dog research project – the camp is also involved in the Painted Dog reintroduction project. This is an ongoing research project and guests are guaranteed sightings of these wonderful creatures.
The next leg of your Explorer Safari is a stay at an exclusive safari lodge situated along a riverine fringe of the mighty Zambezi River where Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia converge. It offers the chance to unwind and see some of the most amazing game viewing and bird watching in the region, in the seclusion of a private National Parks concession. The concession has 14 kilometres of private Zambezi river frontage and borders the Chobe Forest Reserve which is renowned for its massive Elephant population – herds of up to 1500 elephants have been seen on the floodplains below the camp! Shaded by ancient ebony trees, the main lodge is a charming thatched structure, consisting of a lounge, wildlife reference library with fireplace, dining room and cocktail bar. Other

Activities: - These centre around tracking game on morning, afternoon and night game drives by open 4×4 safari vehicle on the Private Concession Area. Exploring the Zambezi River by boat, affords guests exceptional bird-watching opportunities, as birdlife is prolific and varied, ranging from water birds to shy forest dwellers.
